Our dual study programmes prepare you for the wide range of tasks of an engineer at H&B. These range from the development and design of systems and special machines to product development and technical customer consulting. Our growth regularly gives rise to new, technically demanding areas of responsibility.
Even as a child, I always wanted to do something with technology - I tinkered, screwed things together and even built my own bike. When I got to know H&B at a job fair, I was so impressed by a dual student at the time that I immediately became curious. After a taster internship, it was clear to me that this was exactly the right thing for me!
Right from the start, I was very well received by the H&B team - everyone is extremely helpful and open. I can ask questions at any time and always get an answer. Even in the first practical phase, I was actively involved in projects and was able to contribute creatively. I am particularly fascinated by medical technology, as you don't just develop new things here, you can also help people.
The dual study programme at H&B enables me to contribute my own ideas, develop them further and check with production whether and how they can be implemented. When I was accepted onto the programme, I immediately took on a holiday job at H&B. That confirmed my decision once again.
After graduating, I took on tasks in injection moulding simulation and mould design. Over the past ten years, I have gained valuable experience in product development and technical project management. Since 2023, I have been Team Leader for Simulation Technology and responsible for internal and external simulations. My path shows how versatile and future-oriented a dual study programme at H&B Electronic is - from training to management positions, the company offers exciting development opportunities.
